Chiropractic FAQ

Q: Once I get chiropractic treatment, do I have to go forever?

A: NO. Live Well's goal is to return patients to their optimal, active lifestyles in the shortest time frame possible.  Each patient’s individual needs are catered to by creating a unique method for care; not a pre-determined treatment plan.  The end of treatment is usually attained when mutual goals set by the doctor and patient for optimal performance and pain control are reached.

Q: What conditions do chiropractors treat?

A: Doctors of Chiropractic (DC) care for patients of all ages with a variety of health conditions. Dr. Kelli Nelson, DC helps patients with back pain, neck pain, sciatica, and headaches. She also treats a wide range of injuries and disorders of the musculoskeletal system involving the muscles, nerves, ligaments, and tendons (ie. Plantar fasiitis, tendonitis, sprain/strains, etc). Dr. Kelli can improve joint function whether it is in the spine (neck and back) or knees, hips ankles, hands, and feet.

Q: What is the most common cause of neck and lower back pain?

A: The most common reason for neck and back pain is caused by a combination of  restricted joints and muscles that are too tight/stiff or too weak. For example, your low back muscles and joints may be too tight/stiff while your core abdominal muscles may be too weak.

Q: Do you accept insurance?

A: We do not file insurance claims in our office, but we are happy to provide all the necessary forms to our clients who wish to file their own claims with their insurance provider.
